We are Jeannie, Sharon, Lisa, Barb, and Joanne of Sharon Harkness, Inc. This is our community blog, and we welcome you to get involved in this interactive resource.

As the name implies, we want to be your resource for information in the C-U area whether you are a current resident or relocating to the area. We love introducing future residents to the community and of course helping those who might have to relocate to another area.
We want you involved so feel free to comment or suggest an addition we can make to make this site more interesting and useful to all.

One focus of this blog will be local Champaign Urbana neighborhoods. We will be interviewing homeowners in different neighborhoods and linking to vital neighborhood information. If you would like to be one of the first to be interviewed and have your neighborhood highlighted, please contact us so we can get together. You can tell us what you like about your area, what things you like to do in the neighborhood and anything else you think a new neighborhood resident might want to know.

Another feature will be personalities of all kinds that make this area interesting. When we say personalities we mean people, buildings, artists, businesses etc.

Also, we will feature real estate trends both locally and nationally. Interest rates, sources for loans, how to search for a house, see what your house is worth right now, and other useful features will keep you updated on your real estate search.

This community we live in is so full of interesting people and events. We regularly post current articles and links for additional information on the vibrant, “micro-urban” Champaign Urbana area.
